Analysis of Vegetation Coverage Evolution and Degradation under Coal Mine Construction in Permafrost Region

The ecological environment in permafrost regions is very sensitive to climate change and human activities. effects of coal mining on the vegetation have been poorly studied. Herein, basis a field survey Juhugen area Qilian Mountain, China, we investigated quantified influence open-pit coverage degradation areas. Compared with not affected by mining, significant coal-mining-affected area, especially high-vegetation-coverage area.
